Taped Glasses

I don't have children that wear eyeglasses, not yet anyway. Thing is with children and some adults, it is hard to keep from ending up with broken glasses. I remember as a child breaking or losing at least 5 pairs of glasses and I just recently broke appear even at the age of 46, things can happen. I can only wish that I had known about Zenni Optical two months ago. Zenni Optical offers glasses starting at a mere $8.00 for a pair with single vision 1.57 lenses. They also offer the wide fare of options and upgrades for you to choose from. It costs $17.00 extra for standard bifocals and $21.95 for multi-focal no line progressive lenses. You can get memory titanium frames, starting as low as $19.99 to around $29.99. For the price I paid to replace my current glasses $200.00, that's not counting the lenses, I could have had 3 pairs of glasses that are even better than what I have now. There is an extra charge for high index lenses, so if your sight very is poor, it is going to cost a bit more. Even with this extra charge, you will still end up paying a lot less. Don't pay too much for your next pair of glasses. I think it would be worth taking a look at their website. There are some things that you should be aware of if you're ready to order a pair of glasses from them. Request your PD (Pupillary Distance) from the person performing your exam. If your eyes were examined by a licensed Optometrist or Optician, they are required by law to provide you a complete written prescription. So don't let them fool you by saying they don't give out that information. Don't allow yourself be afraid to ask for this information either. You paid for the exam, it is your right to have it. If you feel uneasy just tell them the truth; you are feeling the economic pinch and this is the only way you can afford glasses. Those of you have a child who wears glasses and have had them broken days, weeks sometimes only moments after you buy them you will understand. Many of the glasses at their site are quite fashionable. Your little prince or princess won't be forced to wear a pair of nerd glasses or stare at a wad of tape because you simply don't have the money. Of course if you like the nerd look, they have those kinds of frames also. Zenni doesn't lure you in with low eyewear prices only to stick you with outrageous shipping and handling prices either. It is $4.95, no matter how many glasses you order. Zenni is definitely worth taking a look at. Next year if I need new glasses, I know where I'm going to go.

In my book Viagra definitely makes the list of the best things to come along since the internet. It relieves a lot of frustrations and leaves you wondering; what did those suffering from erectile difficulties ever do to get along without it? There are people who have never needed Viagra and that is great. Those who do need it are overjoyed to have it around. Erectile difficulty can occur for any number of reasons, diabetes, high blood pressure, stress, prostate problems. It is difficult to know what may happen in your life to cause your problem. First have a talk with your doctor about any problems you may be having in achieving or maintaining an erection. Together you can work out a treatment plan that works best for you. If you feel too embarrassed to talk with your Dr. perhaps you can take your partner with you to your next appointment and they can bring the subject up with the Dr. for you. Another alternative is to buy your Viagra online. I never thought that I would ever need Viagra and most times I don't. Then along came that fateful day back in Sept. I can remember it as if it happened only moments ago.

I had set up a two day getaway. I booked a hotel room with a hot tub, filled the room with flowers and lit candles. My collection of romantic, love making music was in the CD player and the oils for a sensual massage were sitting on the night stand by the bed. I had thought of everything, almost. Things were going great, we were in the middle of making love when, house keeping knocked on the door and ruined the moment. After we had sent her away, I tried to refocus and pick back up what we had started. The problem was, I couldn't. We tried everything but nothing seemed to bring back the magic that bad been happening only moments before. I cried that night. I tried again the next day and still nothing, I cried yet again. I was wondering, was this the beginning of an ongoing problem? I don't know if was the stress of trying to have everything being perfect or of I was overly excited. Could it have been the fact that I smoke too many cigarettes? I still don't know and I may never know. The truth is I wasn't willing to let it happen to me ever again. I called and made an appointment to see my Dr. as soon as possible. The next available appointment was weeks out. I wasn't willing to wait that long, so I had to go the online route. My Viagra arrived 2 days after I ordered them. I read the instructions and it worked for me better than expected. I was completely overjoyed and so was my girlfriend.

There are a handful of pharmacies that will sell you Viagra through internet. Some require that you already have a prescription from your physician, others have a Dr. on staff and after you fill out an online questionnaire their Dr will review your request and write the prescription. Do yourself a big favor and do not lie on your questionnaire. You are trying to get a medication that that causes changes your blood flow. It is better to tell the truth, than to end up in the emergency room or the morgue, all because you wanted to get lucky. It has been almost six months since that day. I don't need use my Viagra all the time but I keep my script current. I always try to keep at least three doses of it on hand at all times. Viagra generally comes in three sizes, 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg, which is why you should really consult your Dr. before beginning Viagra, to find the dosage which is right for you. I will let you in on a something that is not really a secret but you may not know. No matter what dosage you get, they all cost the same price. Thankfully I only need the lower dose. My pills come in 100mg tablets. I use a pill splitter to cut them into four 25mg doses; giving me four times the pills for the same price. Most online pharmacies that sell Viagra also sell pill splitters for that very reason. That's it, my opinion and story of Viagra. Take it as you will. If you decide to try viagra or any of the other erectile dysfunction medications, please talk to your Dr. first.

Be safe and be smart, don't put your health at risk. Find the right drug and treatment for you.

In closing, I have a few words of advice:

1. Do not take Viagra if you take nitrates, it may cause a sudden and unsafe drop in blood pressure.

2. if your erection that lasts more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help to avoid long-term injury.

3. Don't drink alcohol with your Viagra, it may not work as well if at all.

4. Be smart about it, tell your Dr about any medications you are taking before taking Viagra.

5. To learn more about the possible side effects of Viagra click here.

6. This is an important one. Do NOT buy VIAGRA from the emails that you constantly get. Always buy from a reputable pharmacy. Always.

I am not a Doctor, health care professional or drug representative. The statements in this blog are derived from my opinions, research and experience. Before beginning any drug regimen you should consult a licensed physician.

This is my final blog about NF, here on Blogger. I have my own domain mow and I'm moving my blog to http://ionlylookdifferent.com/bolg . I will be keeping this blog to write about off topic things and for sponsered posts. I may occasionally write a few NF postings, when I have something big to say. With that said I bid you all farewell and good night.

Until next time I wish you all.

Love, Peace and Understanding.

I started out writing this blog to be only related to NF. The tumors and complications of NF can cause body and facial disfigurement, which can in turn wreak havoc ones self-esteem. I have neurofibromatosis and know all too well the problems that it can cause. I have fared better than some and worse than others when it comes to NF. For quite a while I have searched the internet, in an effort to find solutions to the emotional pain and anxiety that NF has caused for myself and others affected by NF. During that search, I came to a startling realization. Actually, it wouldn't have been such a surprise had I been a little less self centered and thought outside of the box, just a little bit. That realization was, there are many other people who are disfigured and do not have NF. I plan to write about this sudden epiphany in an upcoming blog. Accidents, disease, acts of violence, any of those things and more can cause a person to look different. I wanted to create a place for people who look different for any reason, to come together, learn and grow. I hope that you will find my blog and website helpful, enlightening and informative. I only ask that you come with an open mind.

Earlier this week I asked you to come up with a list of roadblocks in your life that you felt needed to be cleared. I would never ask you to do something that I would not be willing to do myself. That said, I thought it was only fair that I should do the same. I felt I should share a few of the things from my list. Some of them are easier than others but they all represent a present road block in my life. I had considered posting a longer list but I could spend weeks or months on solutions and some things are just private. I may decide to share more of my list later, especially once I decide that I wanted to make an effort at resolving them. Here are the six I am willing to tackle and share at the moment.

  1. Clearing the clutter my home.
  2. Organizing my bills and paying them on time.
  3. Getting some sort of exercise.
  4. Spending more time with my family.
  5. Eating healthier.
  6. Find practical and free or nearly free ways to control my ADD.
So how are you doing on your list? Have you done the homework? It won’t take you very long and can yield terrific gains in both you private and public life. I’m willing to bet that you can come up with at least three things without even thinking about it. Have your list ready for next week.

Until Next time, I wish you;

Love, peace and understanding.

As I was surfing the net I came to across a suprizing fact.  You can actually get paid for blogging. Imagine that doing something that you love and getting paid for it as well. I enjoy blogging for the fun of it and to pass on information.  I would be remiss if I did not let you know that I may receive compensation for some of my posts. I insure you, this will in no way compromise how or what I write about. You will always get my honest and unbiased opinion.

I generally don’t pay too much attention to those email forwards that I usually get but once in a while I do take notice. Here is a recent one that I received. As you read it don’t try to analyze it or make any judgments. It isn’t about whether the story is true or could really happen or not. It is merely an example.

Once upon a time a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's' wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. What the peasant had done is what many of us never understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

Before you read my take on this story, I want you to take a moment to stop and think about what it means to you. When you come to a road block do you take a detour and go around it, even if moving it would mean the others that follow will have a smoother journey? Are you the type to blame others, cry out or complain that something should be done when you run across a problem? Are you the type to do something about it?

There are times when I could be a bit more diligent in clearing the road blocks that I run into. Many times it is a matter of being in a rush and don't want to take the time.  It doesn’t have to be something as big as a boulder but there are many smaller things that you can do. It can be something as simple as putting more paper in the copier when you notice it is running low instead of leaving it for the next person or picking up a piece of paper on your way to the trash bin. Obstacles can also can be as complicated as fighting to get an ordinance passed to have a traffic signal put in at a dangerous crosswalk. The possibilities are endless. The problem when it comes to the more difficult roadblocks is, nothing is usually done until a tragedy occurs. I’m not saying you have to go out and bring down the "Man". You can’t pick up a torch for every cause that comes along. When you do come across something that you think should be fixes and you are able to fix it, step up and make it righ. If it is something that will take an act of congress, write your congressman and ask others to do the same.  What about roadblocks in your life? What are you doing about those? Sometimes personal roadblocks are the hardest to overcome.

Do you treat the obstacles in your life like an elephant in the room that no one is willing to talk or even ask about? Take some time this week to think about the obstacles in your life. I want you to write down as many as you can think of. When you are done, get another piece of paper and sort them in the order you think they should go from easiest to the hardest. Next week I will be back with some of my own personal stories and practical solutions to getting these roadblocks cleared and helping to get you on the right path for you.
